(US).- E-Service has agreed terms to buy the spares & repairs division of Cosmic Video Amusements, Barking. In recent years, CVA has been focused on support and after-sales for Global VR arcade and amusement games, whose successful brands have included Need For Speed, GT, Underground, Aliens, Carbon, Paradise Lost, Nazcar and a host of other great games.

CVA has additionally been the European service and spares partner for US Gaming giant, Pokertek, stocking a range of spares and providing technical service for the popular Heads-Up Challenge 2 player poker game.

In announcing the deal, CVA founder and owner Terry Farr, explained: This is the final stage in our restructuring to allow me to focus on some exciting new areas and challenges within the amusement and gaming industry. I am confident that E-Service, as an after-sales specialist, will continue to support the brands and most importantly, enable CVA customers to maximise their operating revenue and reduce their service costs”

Mike Clokie, Managing Director of E-Service, commented: “E-Service through its Europe-wide branch network and unrivalled weekly free delivery service across the UK, is excited to add these excellent brands to its portfolio. This can only be for the benefit of operators, through the greater efficiency that we can offer, and vast technical resource that we now offer, Europe-wide.
