Cantor Gaming to take over Palms sportsbook next week
Cantor Gaming has committed to building a new race and sports book at Palms that offers sports betting fans the latest in technological advancements and convenience, including mobile sports wagering and a proprietary wireless gaming system. Construction will commence in April and is expected to be completed in time for the 2012 NFL season. During the interim period Cantor Gaming will operate an ancillary sports-only book near the Mint High Limit Lounge located on Palms main floor.
“We are delighted to have received regulatory approval quickly, enabling us to operate at Palms in time for March Madness, which is an exciting period for sports betting patrons”, said Lee M. Amaitis, President and CEO of Cantor Gaming. He continued: “We look forward to working with Palms and unveiling a spectacular new sports book later this year which offers sports betting fans a luxury, first class betting experience”.
