(Macau).- Macau’s government has not yet approved the inclusion of a casino at the Macao Studio City project, said the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Lau Si Io.

(Macau).- Macau’s government has not yet approved the inclusion of a casino at the Macao Studio City project, said the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Lau Si Io.
“The approval is not completed,” Lau said.
He also denied the existence of any “secret deal” between the government and gaming operator Melco Crown Entertainment, which acquired a majority stake in the project last year.
The gaming operator has stated several times that it is confident that it will be able to include a casino in the project, to be located in Cotai.
