(Malta).- Online casino games developer CryptoLogic has announced that it has purchased the Maltese licences for the InterCasino brand from operator OIGE Limited for a ‘nominal consideration’.

Currently involved in takeover talks with Amaya Gaming Group, CryptoLogic could soon be acquired by the Canadian firm for upwards of us$ 53.9 million with a final declaration regarding the proposed deal expected before next Thursday.

In a short statement released this week, Dublin-based CryptoLogic described OIGE as ‘a long-standing customer’ of its fully hosted online casino platform and declared that the transfer of the licenses had already been cleared by the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority.
