(US).- Wells-Gardner Electronics announces that the Illinois Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) central communications system contract has been awarded and signed by the Illinois Gaming Board following a competitive procurement process.

Wells Gardner’s wholly owned subsidiary American Gaming & Electronics (AG&E) is a distributor for the VGT business in Illinois.

“This contract signing means the first deployment of VGTs into the Illinois market could occur in the third quarter 2012,” said Michael Rudowicz, American Gaming & Electronics’ Executive Vice President, Illinois VGT business.

“We anticipate that AG&E will contribute sales of between us$ 75 and us$ 90 million and earnings before tax of between us$ 5 and us$ 7 million over the first 4 years after the deployment of the first VGTs into Illinois,” noted Anthony Spier, Wells Gardner’s Chairman and CEO. “We are excited to be participating in this business.”
