Queenco opens Cambodia casino

(Cambodia).- Casino developer and operator Queenco Leisure International has opened the first phase of its new gaming property in Cambodia. The hotel and casino element of the Queenco Hotel and Casino project in Sihanoukville opened on December 30, 2011.
The joint venture, in which the company will hold a 70 % stake, includes a hotel with approximately 200 suites, restaurants and a casino with approximately 350 slot machines and 50 gambling tables, as well as a health centre and spa. The total investment in the project is estimated to be us$ 30 million.
The first phase of the scheme includes the opening of a hotel with 60 rooms and the casino featuring 130 slot machines and gaming tables.
