France to block domains that offer illegal bettings

(France).- The authority that regulates gaming and betting activities in France will have the power to ask the blocking of the domain of a site offering illegal betting in the country. It was established by a decree published by the government. The operators will have to ban the access to the adress reported.
The decree does not establish if, besides, they should include some sort of warning to internet users on the reasons why the site blocked is inaccesible.
Anyway, they will have the right to set out to the gaming authority the charge of the technical costs of the blocking.
The fact that the decree had been published without a previous consultation to Brussels and without having followed the applications for the consultation to councelling entities, enables several media of communication to augurate the future presentation of resources by some operators.
