2011 for TTH Gaming was a promising year in which we got to know and managed to establish in Mexico, US, Panama and the Caribbean.
How have you seen the gaming industry in general in a year in which the economic crisis affected several international markets?
The main highlights on the market is the progress of online gaming in Europe, from the point of view of its legal frame; and the progress of traditional gaming in the East Asia. Together with Mexico, these are the only markets growing nowadays.
Which has been, in your view, the most important novelty of the year?
2011 was marked by what happened in Monterrey, Mexico, which will no doubt be a break-even point in the Mexican games of chance legislation. Let’s hope the Mexican industry gather together so it doesn’t happen as in Spain, where the online gaming sector is leaving in evidence the big traditional operators.
Which are the plans for 2012?
Mainly, to consolidate the firm in the Mexican market.
How do you see 2012 for the gaming industry in general? Will it be similar to 2011? Do you think there will be a growth in the activity?
The activity is connected to the general operation of the economy and it is not going well neither in Europe nor in the US, so 2012 will be very similar to 2011.
