(Germany).- APEX Germany will have a major presence at the forthcoming IMA event. The firm will be presenting a whole range of new choice for operators in Germany over their 500 sq.m.stand 8a in Hall E50 at the IMA in Düsseldorf, between 17th and 20th January 2012.

The state-of-the-art Pinnacle upright AWP with two 22” monitors has been approved by the German testing board PTB. This is a major breakthrough not just for APEX Germany but indeed the entire German AWP market. Operators have immediate access to a gaming product from a leading international gaming machine manufacturer with a proven track record over many years.

The IMA 2011 saw APEX gaming take a large stand to present its intentions to the German AWP market. “We could have taken orders non-stop if we would have been certified then”, remembers Johannes Weissengruber, CEO and founder of APEX gaming. “We took the conscious decision to really invest in the last IMA. Operators took away the clear impression that a major successful international manufacturer will be entering this market. We had many invaluable conversations with operators to understand their true requirements”.

The results can be found in the new generation of Pinnacle. Brand-new innovations both on the hardware and software side have been introduced especially for the German AWP market. It is this focus on providing the local market exactly what it needs that persuaded the well-respected German industry veteran Mr. Udo Nickel to join APEX Germany.

Nickel explains, “APEX gaming has an excellent international reputation yet is entering a new market here in Germany. Therefore, our job is to raise the company profile here and I am very confident of our success here. Since the last IMA, APEX Germany has been founded near Munich, we have the Pinnacle certified for sale with another three gaming machines on the way. Furthermore, we have built up a strong team in Germany. We have set up agreements with local distributors all around Germany. We have a 24/7 service line and customers can buy spare parts on our webshop. In short, we have put the necessary structure in place to support operators throughout Germany”.

He then concludes, “We will be breaking the German AWP mould. The major companies only offer their machines for lease or rent. We are offering the casino-quality Pinnacle for sale – including the Magic Classic games package. This is what operators want and we respect their wishes”.

APEX Germany will be exhibiting on stand 8a in Hall E50 at the IMA in Düsseldorf, Germany, between 17th and 20th January 2012.
