What is the evaluation of this 2011?
Despite the challenging economic outlook for 2011, we are very pleased to have surpassed our target sales goals for the year. We have continued to grow without jeopardizing our outstanding customer service, high quality products and fast turnaround times are reasons that have enabled us to retain our large base of loyal customers.
How was the general gaming industry in a year with an economic crisis that affected many markets?
Even though there have been some setbacks in the general gaming industry, overall, it has withstood the challenges of the economic crisis pretty well. There have been several regional markets that have had sluggish growth, like Mexico, but on the other hand, we have seen a rise in the US markets. For Rye Park Gaming, we were able thrive because of both new products and increasing the diversity of our product mix, like advanced player seating and improvements in table game layout materials.
In your opinion, which was the most outstanding news of the year?
The most outstanding news for Rye Park Gaming is the overall positive outlook for the future of our target markets. We were able to increase our market share in the US and Latin and South American markets.
Which do you think was the most innovative product or service launched this year?
We feel the most innovative service we are offering this year is our new Table Game Lease program. Our lease program allows our casino clients to utilize new table game equipment at low out of pocket costs. Our casino clients are able to make payments on the leased table gaming equipment as they go. Leasing equipment is a huge advantage for new casinos because it gives them the opportunity to make a profit from the get go because they are able to minimize the initial large investment on expensive, high quality table gaming equipment.
What are the company's plans for 2012?
At Rye Park we want to expand our outreach into the global gaming markets while still focusing on our local clients in Las Vegas. Our main goals for 2012 are to increase both our table game layout client base and our market share in our targeted regions. We also want to continue to build up our new Table Game Lease program client base. Lastly, we want to continue to offer the highest quality products with top of the line customer service to our clients.
How will be the 2012 for the gaming industry in general? Will it be similar to 2011? Do you think that we will see a growth in the activity?
The industry has gone through some tough bumps in the road the past 4 years or so. We have seen a big change over the past year and we know that 2012 will be better! We are definitely looking forward to seeing recovery in the regions that suffered setbacks and continued growth in our target markets.
