Rob Wheeler, FutureLogic’s new Systems Product Manager, has significant experience in systems product management covering casino, route and AWP markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. Before joining FutureLogic, he was Director of Product Management at Bally Systems for 11 years where he was responsible for slot management and ticketing systems across the international and U.S. multi-site distributed gaming operations.
FutureLogic’s new Systems Support Engineer, Mike Clarke, also offers an impressive background. Trained as a hardware test engineer at GEC Computers, Clarke was later involved in the development and production roll-out of Wide Area Networking (WAN) hardware. He also held positions as Service Engineer of automated control systems and as Support Engineer for several high-technology companies.
“FutureLogic is adding a new systems dimension to its business in Europe and across the rest of the world,” said John Edmunds, Vice-President of FutureLogic for International Markets. “Hiring new team members in the U.K. who have proven systems business experience is central to our growth strategy. Whilst offering innovative printer products remains our core business, we are expanding our ticketing and couponing presence in the EMEA region.
“With this goal in mind, we will launch our PromoNet couponing solution at ICE 2012 in London. Following extensive consultation, development and testing in the U.S. casino market - including passing review by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, GLI and BMM - we are excited that the PromoNet couponing solution is now ready for sale in EMEA markets.
“We also look forward to unveiling in January, 2012, a new ticket-out solution for the AWP market,” added Edmunds. “Replacing coin-payout with ticket-payout on new and legacy analogue AWP games is of real interest to operators across Europe. Providing secure ticket issuance and redemption without the need to network the games greatly simplifies the cash collection process.”
Edmunds concluded: “With our new team in place we are now ready to introduce our new systems products into the Casino and AWP markets across EMEA.”
