Westgate Romania holds exclusive rights for Mega Jackpot in Romania. Its system is customized for use as part of the King Kong Cash progressive, with the game’s top Mega Jackpot level operating as a Wide-Area Progressive (WAP). The unique architecture developed by Spielo International’s systems group means that Mega Jackpot requires minimal on-site IT equipment and minimal staff training. Meanwhile, the firm’s Display Evolution software entertains players with King Kong themes while also enabling targeted marketing messages.
This is the sole system of network progressive jackpots available to Romanian players. Spielo International launched the Mega Jackpot WAP in 2010 with three local jackpots per machine, with the top Mega Jackpot progressive level connected to 60 gaming sites. The success of the system led to the addition of another 125 machines in 2011. There are now 185 slot machines connected to the system in 160 Stanleybet shops across 44 cities.
This system is especially compelling to players because the starting value of the Mega Jackpot prize is us$ 61,565 and the jackpot has since awarded amounts greater than approximately 200,000 Euros.
The first Mega Jackpot win took place in November 2010 in Bucharest, awarding 80,000 euros. A Bucharest player won the second Mega Jackpot award of 215,000 Euro on August 25, 2011. The third win took place just two weeks later,last September 8, where a frequent Mega Jackpot player from Craiova approximately 60,000 Euro. The fourth Mega Jackpot was won in Brasov on October 26, 2011. With this prize, in value of 118,000 Euro, Mega Jackpot has awarded over 390,000 Euro in two months only. Just recently, on December 1 “Romanian National Day”, a lucky winner claimed a prize of 100,000 Euro.
