Intralot awards educational excellence

The firm recognizes the intrinsic value of education to increase knowledge, inspiration, creativity and development that is enjoyed across borders and cultures.
“We strongly believe in the value of education as the catalyst of our society’s advancement. Now more than ever, we must support the young bright minds, so as to face the future challenges with optimism and vigorousness. Intralot is always part of such great initiatives that boost students’ efforts, awarding them for their excellent performance”, stated Ms. Chryssa Amanatidou, Head of Public Relations and CSR, who awarded the scholarships to the students, during a special ceremony that took place on December 6th 2011 in the premises of the University of Piraeus.

As an active corporate citizen, Intralot Group contributes to the enhancement of the quality of life and the development of local communities through its social programme “Intralot - We care a lot”. The programme focuses on supporting initiatives for the advancement of education, the health and public welfare, the conservation of cultural heritage and the sustainability of our planet. 

The Department’s scholarship programme was inaugurated in 1991 and soon was established as an integral part of the University scholarship programme.
