As announced in July 2011, Spielo International signed a five-year contract with AGLC to provide the Intelligen Central System following a competitive procurement process. AGLC selected Spielo International’s DGM module as an addition to the Intelligen agreement.
As a result of a separate public procurement, Spielo International has also signed a multi-year contract on November 8 to provide the Alberta market with new VLTs and a set of compelling VLT games. “We’re pleased to enhance the functionality of AGLC’s Intelligen Central System with our Distributed Game Management module, which will provide AGLC with increased efficiency and decreased game deployment costs,” said Spielo International President and CEO Walter Bugno.
The company has been providing results-driven gaming solutions to AGLC since 2003. Its replacement VLTs represent the 4th generation of SPIELO International cabinets.
Spielo International’s cabinets are engineered specifically for the distributed market to be Game to System (G2S) interoperable, offering operators the flexibility and choice of open standard protocols. Its cabinet portfolio includes upright and slant-top video cabinets, such as the award-winning prodiGi Vu cabinet; the Vu Slant terminal; and the WinWave Vu VLT. Combined with exciting, player-driven games, these products meet or surpass industry standards on performance and reliability.
An application for Intelligen, the DGM Value-Added Module will enable remote game switching, quick game validation and authentication to supported VLTs, including VLTs from multiple vendors.
Built on more than 20 years of proven central system experience, Intelligen offers stable, secure command and control capability uniquely tailored to distributed and venue gaming environments. Its optional Value-Added Modules allow operators to invest only in the technology they need.
Intelligen interoperates with a wide range of VLTs using multiple protocols, including the G2S open standard protocol, and has advanced communication abilities.
