David Heap to step down as TCS John Huxley CEO

(UK).- The TCS John Huxley Board of Directors announce that David Heap will be stepping down as Group Chief Executive effective 1st March 2012. From that date he will take on the new role as Advisor to the Knutsson family portfolio of companies and business interests.

The Knutsson family and the Board would like to take this opportunity of thanking David for his excellent work and leadership over the past 15 years taking the Group forward and shaping it to the formidable business it is today.

David’s tenure at the helm began in 1996, when he was appointed CEO of TCS. Since that time he has overseen the introduction of many new and exciting products that have gone on to shape gaming floors of today. In 2003 he was instrumental in bringing TCS and John Huxley together and has since steered the company to become the global leader in the manufacture and supply of live table gaming products and services.

Bertil Knutsson, Chairman comments: “David is a true professional who has provided strong leadership and a great deal of knowledge and experience to his role. He has undoubtedly established excellent foundations for the company to continue to grow and prosper. We wish him much success in all his future endeavours.”

David Heap adds, “It has been both a pleasure and a great opportunity to be part of TCS John Huxley and I would like to thank the Knutsson family, the Board and all the staff for their support over the last 15 years.”
