(Argentina, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Harmen Brenninkmeijer, Inspired Gaming Group’s Senior VP of Strategic Market Development, granted an interview to Yogonet.com and talked about the products that the firm presented at recent SAGSE event, the feedback from the public and its future plans for Latin America. “We have a strong focus on Mexico, Colombia and Argentina and others to follow. We will be looking at a strong local presence and possibly local production,” he assured.

What has been your opinion of the SAGSE event this year?
It is clear that SAGSE is a Latin show and not just an Argentinean one. Quite a lot of people came here from Latin America to take a look at what is happening in Argentina, as one of the leading markets. Operators, suppliers, regulators and lottery professionals came to see what’s new and what’s going to be happening in the next 12 months. We were pleased to introduce compelling new products for this market and meet a lot of operators interested in Inspired.

What did Inspired present at the show for the Latin American market?
We focused on our new electronic roulette product, Multi-Win Roulette Sabre, because Argentina leads in this product group particularly. We believe Inspired has the most competitive electronic roulette product at this time and felt that this was the right time to show the product in Argentina. Based on the positive reactions we were proven right.

Inspired’s Sabre Multi-Win Roulette product has a number of features that make it so unique: The technology platform, the HD 26” widescreen display, the secondary Player Portal information touchscreen and obviously the ability to bet on four wheels simultaneously. Additionally, the cabinet’s unique and ergonomic design makes it attractive to Argentinean operators.

We also showed one of our server-based electronic gaming machines, Storm HD, which is especially interesting for operators because it is a multi-game, standalone, electronic gaming machine. Storm HD with Inspired’s Open SGB Core server-based platform is very adaptable to different markets and we can place both individual machines and large-scale networks. It is a very flexible product and operating system, which is perfect for Latin American casinos. We can have as many games as the operator would like to see per cabinet and we update the content via the SBG network on a regular basis, making it extremely economical for operators and a very good choice for the players.

How was the feedback from the operators that visited the company’s booth?
The reactions to Sabre Multi-Win Roulette were great. People are immediately attracted to the modern design, the 26” screen and HD graphics. Once they started playing they also understood that Multi-Win Roulette is a great game because the user interface is so simple and the choice of four wheels to play on at the same time makes it more fun and fast-paced. High rollers really like this product.

We also heard a few times that the operators felt that this was the right time to introduce server-based gaming. The market is evolving and operators need products that can evolve quickly too and keep players entertained with exciting new games, as well as their old favourites. This is what server-based does best.

What is the potential of the Argentinean market?
Argentina is a mature market but still has a number of opportunities left. However, it’s also a large replacement market and suppliers will succeed if they can offer the right product at the right price. This is what we are confident of with Multi-Win Roulette, as we have had consistent growth success in Europe with Genting and Gala Casinos. We welcome any operators thinking about server-based gaming to come to us with questions and challenges – we’re sure we can surprise them with how easy it is to implement and to start seeing the benefits.

What are your plans for Latin America?
Inspired was bought and re-financed 18 months ago by a European private equity company and since then the company has been focused on growing business with its current customers and expending its winning technology to what we call “strategic” areas. These are gaming markets that are either emerging as new territories because of legislation changes, such as Italy, or growth markets that are looking for new products to excite their increasing number of players. These strategic areas should be considering server-based products, if legislation doesn’t already require it, and we are confident that we have the expertise and experience to increase their incomes with our SBG platform and products.

In particular, we have a strong focus on Mexico, Colombia and Argentina and others to follow. We will be looking at a strong local presence and possibly local production.
