How have you seen the 19th edition of SAGSE Buenos Aires?
We think it was a more focused exhibition. All the people of the industry were present.
What is your evaluation of the presentation of the company?
JCM presentation was more than promising, really more than what we expected. We made the meetings we wanted to do, a great number of customers visited us and we have already agreed to meet with those customers we couldn’t see due to time reasons.
What products from your collection attracted more interest in visitors?
There was much interest in iVizion, to the point that some pre-sales agreements have already been made. We also had the chance to show the ICB system to different customers, and the new JCM printer. Paycheck 4 also had its number of followers. Al the comments we have received about the products presented were positive.
Which are the main characteristics of the products exhibited in Buenos Aires?
iVizion is the most advanced bill validator today. Its main advantages are its CIS (Contact Image Sensing) technology, the most revolutionary of the market. It scans more than 600,000 points on the tickets, several times more than any other product of the competence, taking the 100% of the ticket to 100 DPI. It has two high-speed plaques, which enable to have, among other things, an acceptance and deposit speed of 2.7 seconds per ticket.
iVizion has the banknote path totally sealed to dust and water, enabling to maintain the highest acceptance rates in the market and an easy maintenance. It has double counterfeit protection, by a software and by a mechanic system. iVizion has a self-calibrating sensor package, modular component design and has the ability to read barcodes horizontally and vertically.
The new JCM printer, the Paycheck 4, was one of the big attractions of our booth. Although it is not very well-known yet, the customers that have already tested it have declared that they prefer it, because it is easy to operate, to bring service and it has an economic operation. It is, by far, the fastest printer in the market, around 250mm per second. The print head will last up to 100 km, compared to the standard 50-70km of the other printers. It has an extremely easy maintenance and the standard bezel prevents from the ticket obstruction.
ICB system controls the casino collection. This system not only improves the ticket collection process but also saves time and money to different areas of the casino, from operations, technical services and accounting area. The ICB system has already 10 years in the US and European markets. JCM has already installed a base of more than 63,000 slots under this system, and in the following two years, the installation of 25,000 more machines has been planned.
Which are your following plans for the Latin American market?
The goals are always the same. The route changes according to the dynamics of the market. JCM has always the purpose of bringing its customers and the industry in general, solutions and services to make the work easier, more economic and to help increase profitability. Considering that, JCM is releasing the iVizion, the ICB system and the new Paycheck 4 printer. We are also seeking ways to offer more services to our customers and improve, together with our distributors and customer support centers, the support they need.
