(Argentina).- Once again, ISMS team will be taking part at SAGSE conference and exhibition. Erika Rubio, Vice President of Sales for South America, and her team are bringing a wide variety of machines to this year’s show.

Major manufactures that are represented on the stand include WMS, IGT, Atronic, Konami, Bally, Aristocrat and Novomatic. But this is just a small selection of the stock held by ISMS at their various refurbishment facilities around the world; they have a huge selection of all brands.

Erika Rubio explains the reasons why used equipment is the right choice for the markets of South America: “I believe that we are the only supplier who is able to offer this wide range of equipment – meaning that buyers can save both time and money by using us as a one-stop-shop.”

“A great deal of our time is spent globally sourcing top quality pre-owned machines and then refurbishing them to a high standard, so that customers can choose the equipment which is right for their geographical location and feel secure in the knowledge that every machine will be up to a certified standard,” she added.

She then commented: “In recent times we have seen a high level of volatility in the South and Central American markets. The political situation in some countries has lead to gaming being outlawed and the casino owners finding themselves left with a heavy burden of debt. Changes to government and legislation have seen thriving markets closed and many owners fear for the future.”

ISMS has many years experience in South America and offers positive help and advice to operators who may be affected. If for example they are looking to expand their business but are concerned about the long term future of gaming in their jurisdiction, pre-owned machines are the ideal solution.

“Latin America is currently one of our most important market places for ISMS. We are selling a lot of machines into Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Chile and Panama.” Erika affirmed. “However, it is a very unpredictable area, with some countries closing casinos and tightening up on legislation. The political situation is constantly changing and owners of casinos and gaming establishments are being very circumspect when considering what equipment to buy and how to spend their money,” she assured.

She continued by saying: “They have seen the burden of debt suffered by ther counterparts in other countries.  For example, this can occur when an owner enters into a  two year agreement for brand new stock and is suddenly left with no way to pay because gaming has been outlawed.  ISMS can help because the cost of pre-owned equipment is so much lower that ROI quickly covers the initial outlay.”

By purchasing from ISMS, an operator’s initial capital outlay is far lower, minimising the overheads commonly associated with new equipment. Additionally, the operator will start seeing a return on his investment within a few months instead of a few years, she concluded.

ISMS will be present at this year’s SAGSE on stand number 206.
