Betfair’s on-going innovation in the mobile space, which has seen it release first-to-market applications for the iPhone, iPad and Android, has also played a significant role in attracting new customers.
The company, which revolutionised the betting industry with the launch of its Exchange in 2000, recently reported that it had seen revenue growth in mobile increase by over 70 % in the first quarter of this financial year.
The number of bets placed through mobile also doubled when compared to the same period in the previous year.
