(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Gary Mullins, Sales Director at Quixant, granted an interview to Yogonet.com about the performance of the company at the latest edition of G2E Las Vegas event. He talked about the new date and venue, the feedback received from operators, the main markets for the firm as well as the plans for next year. “We are hopeful that gaming will continue its upward trend into 2012”, he commented.

How was G2E 2011 compared to other years?
This is the 5th time that we have participated as exhibitors at the G2E show and taking into consideration the current global climate we are very excited about the response we received from the visitors at our booth. G2E 2011 has been a turning point for Quixant as we were exhibiting for the first time as Quixant USA Inc. This fact received very positive comments from everyone that came to the stand and underlines Quixant’s long-term commitment to the gaming industry, as we are now the only gaming board manufacturer with a local support office in Las Vegas.

How was Quixant’s performance at the show?
Our customers were able to check the availability of the wide range of gaming platforms and accessories we had on display. In addition to this, our technology roadmap also enabled them to keep up-to-date with our upcoming products.
We are hopeful that gaming will continue its upward trend into 2012 and in the US market there continues to be a lot of activity and opportunities. We know the gaming industry will take advantage of our top quality compact size platforms, excellent performance and pricing.

How did you perceive the industry at Sands Expo & Convention Centre’s halls?
Everyone seemed pleased with the new venue; we strongly believe that moving the trade show to a new venue was an excellent decision made by the organisers.

What was the feedback from operators?
Our best selling platform has been Quixant’s new QXi-200. It was exciting for us to find out that the QXi-200 was of greatest interest to the visitors, receiving enormous attention. We always aim to provide our customers with unbeatable cutting edge technology, and in association with AMD as a partnership, we certainly trust that we have achieved this aim.

What are Quixant’s main markets?
We have had a lot of success in many markets worldwide from Europe to South America in terms of our products being designed into new gaming machines. The US market is really important for us and this is why we established our own US subsidiary (Quixant USA Inc) which is located in Las Vegas. So far, since the opening of new local premises in Las Vegas, new opportunities have and are continuing to present themselves.

What are your plans for 2012?
Quixant plans several further product announcements in 2012 which will bring new exciting features never before seen in gaming products. We will continue to exhibit at the main gaming trade show’s around the world showing our long term commitment to the industry. Join the revolution with us and discover the new cutting edge technology that is coming soon to the gaming industry.
