(Argentina, exclusive Yogonet.com).- “At SAGSE and at our Roundtable, we will be discussing new technologies and their potential impact, with regulators from across Latin America,” assured Karen Sierra-Hughes, GLI's Latin American and Caribbean Development Manager, who talked with Yogonet.com about the participation of the firm at upcoming SAGSE event.

How are you preparing for the 19th edition of SAGSE Buenos Aires?
We are preparing to exhibit at the show, where we will be talking about our latest exclusive tool, GLI Mobile, an app for smartphones where regulators, suppliers and operators can access to the lab anytime, anywhere. We are also producing our annual Latin American Regulators Roundtable. The event is presented by our exclusive trainning program, GLI University, which will take place 8th  November at the Salón Jacarandá y Ombú in Loi Suites Recoleta Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Roundtable will feature an incredible lineup of speakers comprised by industry’s leading gaming, iGaming and lottery experts.

How do you think the show will be affected by the change in the gaming calendar?
We do not think the show will be affected by G2E change of date. The Latin American marketplace is very unique, and we expect to see a very successful show again this year.

What trends do you expect to see?
This has been an incredible year for the gaming industry, globally and in Latin America, because there have been many technological advances that are driving innovation, and we are seeing very innovative technologies in our 18 global labs. As far as the lab’s perspective about trends, with innovations it comes the need of regulators to analyze their jurisdictional rules, and both in SAGSE and at our Roundtable we will be discussing new technologies and their potential impact, with regulators from across Latin America.

How did you see the Argentinean and Latin American industry during this year?
Latin America is a very interesting and growing region for gaming. Regulations are advancing and new and major suppliers are entering to the market and they are doing very well. We are helping suppliers to enter to the market with our GLI Link and Point.Click.Transfer. tools, and we are working very closely with regulators on structuring their regulations and dealing with new technology. Of course, all this helps operators, who can be sure that the products they have on their casino floor are tested, certified and approved by regulators. We expect this trend to continue, and we see Latin America continuing to grow.
