How was G2E 2011 compared to other years?
This was the best year for us since we began showing at G2E, largely due to a bigger booth space, location, design and theme. We had an excellent response to our products on show from both our clients and prospective clients.
What was Rye Park’s participation at the show?
At this year’s G2E, we presented our 2012 Stock Layout Collection for table games, our new Quick-Change Playing Surface and newly remodelled casino chairs and stools. Along with our new products, we also exhibited our beautifully and ergonomically designed poker tables, blackjack tables, beverage carts and our complete line of table gaming hardware and accessories.
How did you perceive the industry at Sands Expo & Convention Center’s halls?
There was a much higher energy throughout the entire show floor, which was an improvement from past shows. Even with the economic challenges during the last couple years, there was an increase in the number of visitors this year and you could feel the excitement and optimism around the show floor.
What was the feedback from operators?
The feedback was tremendous. We wanted to implement a memorable theme this year at G2E. The success of our Vampire Party Pit surpassed our expectations, being a huge hit with operators.
This was our fourth G2E, and the customer response to our products this year was really impressive. We were very busy with existing customers and we were also able to develop a significant amount of new contacts, both in terms of customer leads and potential business partners.
What are Rye Park’s main markets?
Our main markets are the large casino's located here in Las Vegas. The show provided a great opportunity to meet our target buyers and get face to face with the decision makers. The fact that we are located in Las Vegas gives us a big advantage- in both turn around time and being able to service the clients locally.
What are your plans for 2012?
In 2012, we will focus on continuing to increase sales, the number of employees, our manufacturing volume, and new product innovation. We want to grow without jeopardizing our outstanding customer service, high quality products and fast turnaround times, reasons that have enabled us to retain our large base of loyal customers. We will also continue to increase our outreach in the US and globally, i.e., South America, Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
