“We presented the widest selection of refurbished machines from a wide range of manufacturers”

(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- After G2E event, Sam Arnold, Manager Director, ISMS, talked to Yogonet.com about the products that the firm presented at its booth in Las Vegas. He also commented about the activities of the company, the main markets in which it operates and the profile of its customers.

What have you shown in G2E?
At G2E we have exhibited a number of refurbished machines. In fact it is probably the widest selection of refurbished machines from a wide range of manufacturers. So we brought some WMS machines, we have Bluebird 1 and Bluebird 2, a lighter product. We have IGT, Atronic, Konami, Bally Aristocrat and Novomatic products.

How was the show and how was the feedback from visitors?
We had a lot of qualified clients mainly from Central and South America. On the first day we sold some machines on the booth, actually, and on the second day we sold some machines as well.

Are the United States a potential market for you?
It is a potential market because of the fact that we are planning to open a big new office in Miami.

And nowadays which are the strongest markets for the firm?
The Asian markets.

And what about Latin America?
Latin America would be the second market in importance. We are selling a lot of machines in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Chile. We are also selling a lot of machines in Central America, for example, in Panama.

What kind of operators buy your machines?
The majority of our customers are small slot operators, and so that is a different category. They are not large resorts and there are not large operations. They are smaller slot halls, smaller operators that need one or two start-up locations. So there are small operators which buy machines from us. They operate them for one or two years so they buy them at an affordable price, which enable them to keep their operations going; they operate them for one or two years and then they are able to purchase newer machines from larger manufacturers. So we target small start-up operators.

All the machines that come to our inventory have been refurbished, all of the cabinets have been cleaned. In some cases we paint the cabinets. We reassemble the machines. Then, of course, we have the technical department in which we do all of the final details, we have the LCD screens, we reprogram them, we have the ticket printers, the coin handling. Then the machines go to the packaging department, they are wrapped, they are put into the right cabinet, and then the machines go to shipping.

So we have several departments in our inventory. They look after the machine receival, the machine cleaning, the preparation, the technical department, the packaging and then we have the shipping and customs department. So it shows the quality in which the machines are refurbished.  A policy of our company is that all the machines have original parts. Everything we use is 100% original. That’s why all the manufacturers support us.

Is there any other company like yours?
Well, there was just one other company here, but they are trying to copy us. They have a little booth.

Are you going to be present in another event?
People from our company will be present in Bulgaria and Argentina, and then, in London.
