How was G2E 2011 compared to previous years?
This is the first year that we exhibited at G2E. We have been attending the show and conferences for a number of years.
What was Amaya Gaming’s performance at the show?
We were very pleased with with exposure and traffic we received at our stand. We primarily featured our online casino software in the iGaming section and there appeared to be a lot of interest with the pending US legislation allowing regulated online gaming.
What was the feedback from operators?
They were impressed with the amount of experience we have in the industry. We acquired Chartwell in July 2011 and they are one of the online casino pioneers – providing quality online casino games primarily to the European marketplace since 1998.
What are Amaya Gaming’s main markets?
We specialize in providing gaming solutions to governments around the world. We just launched in Kenya, signed a 20-year exclusive agreement in Maldova and have secured deals in key Latin American markets. Our online division (formerly Chartwell) is focused on European markets – especially Italy and Spain.
What are your plans for 2012?
Continued growth through government lottery operations, providing online casino games to European operators and expansion of our Mosino in-room entertainment system in key all-inclusive hotel markets.
