The feedback from the IMA allowed APEX gaming to fine tune their German AWP products even more. Shortly afterwards the German headquarters were founded in Munich, key personnel has been brought on board. APEX Germany is headed up by Mr. Gerhard Hubmann and the much experienced industry veteran Mr. Udo Nickel leads the sales team.
The past months have been spent setting up a distributor and service network around Germany. Contracts have been signed and thus operators can now purchase the Pinnacle from their trusted local partners. Purchase is a very important word as operators can now purchase premier gaming solutions including the games package `Magic Classic´, breaking the lease-only model.
The previous weeks and months have thus been a very busy time for APEX Germany. This is reflected in the strong participation in local distributor exhibitions to introduce the Pinnacle from APEX to local operators. APEX Germany was present as distributor at the recent exhibitions of Krüger Automaten in Berlin, Scharla Automaten in Bochum and Neox Gaming in Mainz in recent weeks.
Udo Nickel sums up the mood, “The feedback has been excellent. Operators up and down the country are telling us again and again that APEX is bringing a real and new gaming experience. Operators are very pleased that they can choose between leasing or purchasing. The fact that we have invested so strongly in the German market sends out a strong signal – APEX intends to become a strong partner to the German AWP industry”.
Johannes Weissengruber concludes, “We are bringing several innovations to the market. Take for example the money management. The hoppers are sealed in a case. Secondly, we are introducing as standard the new revolutionary banknote recycler UBA RC from JCM. We are confident that our gaming solutions will enthuse players, operators and technicians alike”.
