(US, Exclusive Yogonet.com).- Steve Walther, VP Marketing of Aruze Gaming America, granted an interview to Yogonet.com after recent G2E Las Vegas, in which he analyzed the performance of the company at the show, the feedback from operators, the main markets and the firm’s plans for 2012.

How was G2E 2011 compared to other years?
Aruze Gaming’s presence and reception at G2E this year was fantastic and far exceeded expectations. The new location provided some convenience for many of the visitors and the traffic in our booth was better than any year previously. The show organizers did an excellent job in moving attendees through the venues with human signage and strategic directional markers. The conference sessions also appeared to be well attended   The overall show experience provided a great opportunity for Aruze’s customers to see the latest in technology across a wide spectrum of suppliers while also getting a preview into what’s to come in 2012.

What was Aruze’s performance at the show?
Aruze’s products received significant exposure at this year’s show, and our team was busy throughout the event. We made some fantastic new contacts with attendees and definitely showed the industry that ‘We’ve Got It All’. Our Innovator steppers with Radiant Reels along with Amazon Fishing caught most of the attention. Our Shoot to Win Craps and other G-Station multi-station games had people playing from the opening minutes of the show until the end of the day.  It is quite satisfying to see the excitement on our visitor’s faces as they played our new products, and that translated well into new opportunities and sales right off the stand.

How did you perceive the industry at Sands Expo & Convention Center's halls?
I think the industry as a whole rose to the occasion of a new venue with flying colors. Year after year, our presentations become more fine-tuned and professional. G2E is a first rate event for our industry, and this year was no exception. With one year of experience in the new venue, next year is sure to be even better.

What was the feedback from operators?
Overall, the operators seemed impressed with G2E and the Sands venue. Most of our feedback on the presentation of our products was quite positive. Operators were quite enthused about our upcoming products and are very pleased with the results from some of our key products that we displayed.

What are Aruze’s main markets?
Aruze Gaming is a global company with operations in North and South America, Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe. We have made significant gains in Asia and the Americas over the last few years as a viable alternative to the “Big 5” suppliers.

What are your plans for 2012?
We plan to continue the momentum gained from this show in penetrating additional markets and expanding our install base with products that continue to perform above expectations.  G2E is an excellent start to laying the groundwork for a successful 2012, and we will follow up with SAGSE in November to close out the 2011 show season. With the reception we received at G2E, our optimism for 2012 is quite high and we look forward to furthering our growth.
