“We exhibited our full range of Microcoin coin acceptors and GBA note acceptors at G2E, since we wanted to talk with customers from all industries, not just US Gaming. This strategy was very successful, as we had enquiries which covered all aspects of our coin and note product range”, pointed Robert Bird. He also said that feedback to their product lines was very enthusiastic and that the firm had come away from the show with some very positive leads.
Besides, when asked about the change of date and venue, he said that G2E dates have not presented a problem, “although the show itself requires some tuning in overall floor layout which will allow foot traffic to be more evenly spread over the venue”.
Bird also commented that Microcoin is working in all available markets both from a gaming perspective and from a generic note/coin application viewpoint.
Finally, he made an evaluation of 2011 for Microcoin, considering the important economic crisis suffered worldwide, and said: “Because we are operating across a variety of markets, we have seen 2011 as quite testing but ultimately very manageable since we have "many eggs in many baskets".
