(US).- Bally Technologies announced the completion of a new systems and games contract with Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. The contract includes Bally's award-winning iVIEW player-user-interface and Elite Bonusing Suite on more than 6,000 gaming machines. A majority of Mohegan Sun's games will have iVIEW Display Manager (DM).

As part of the agreement, Bally will also deliver a lineup of new Bally ALPHA 2 Pro Series games, including several on the new Pro Curve cabinet, featuring the industry's only curved LCD to emulate spinning reels on a video slot.

"We've always prided ourselves on exceeding the expectations of our customers and offering them an exceptional experience," said Mohegan Tribe Chairman Bruce Bozum. "We selected Bally after an extensive evaluation of all systems and games on the market. Bally's new iVIEW networked technology will enable us to take our player experience to a whole new level."

The iVIEW network is an interactive communication tool used by players and controlled by the gaming operator. iVIEW DM, with its picture-in-picture-style player-user-interface, is backwards compatible on nearly all gaming devices with a touch-screen display and provides a way for casino operators to present self-service player-account access, beverage ordering, marketing messages, and secondary bonus games on the main game screen - without interrupting play.

Bally's Elite Bonusing Suite adds dramatic new levels of excitement and anticipation to the slot-play experience. The Elite Bonusing Suite applications deliver floor-wide, personalized promotions, second-chance-to-win events, and the ability for players to earn valuable rewards - all without interrupting play on the base game. These interactive solutions enable players to do things such as spin wheels, select and root for their favourite contest-driven horse, and participate in instant floor-wide slot tournaments.

"It has become clear to us that the best way to grow in this increasingly competitive market is to have the most innovative tools available and provide the best experience for our patrons," said Mohegan Sun President and CEO Officer Jeff E. Hartmann. "The revolutionary new Pro Curve product will have great appeal to our players."

"We are proud of our long-term strategic partnership with the Mohegan Tribe," said Bally Technologies' CEO Richard Haddrill. "We are thrilled they have embraced our iVIEW network and Elite Bonusing technology for floor-wide deployment at their magnificent Connecticut resort. This investment, along with new Bally Pro Series Curve games, expands our partnership with Mohegan Sun and provides them a foundation for creating one-of-a-kind excitement in their competitive market."
