The JetScan iFX i100 captures 100 x 100 dpi images at 1,200 documents per minute. These images are digitally archived to enable fast, easy searches while eliminating the need and cost of physical ticket storage. At the same time, barcodes are read and exported to the slot system.
“The fact that high-speed imaging can now be done on a small, economical desktop device is by itself welcome news for many casinos,” notes Curtis Hallowell, Vice President Product Management at Cummins-Allison. “But combine that with the ability to process currency on that same device and the economies increase significantly.”
The JetScan iFX i100 processes currency at 1,600 notes per minute and boasts the industry’s lowest no-call rate with fewer jams for maximum productivity and throughput. Additionally, the imaging technology makes it possible to capture serial numbers of every note for tracking and fraud prevention purposes. For the first time, actual currency can be tied back to the point of entry, whether it be an individual or a device. Additionally, large-value transactions are easily recorded for Title 31 reporting requirements.
Gaming properties that process checks can even use the JetScan iFX i100 for check imaging and remote deposit capture applications. At 400 checks per minute, the JetScan iFX i100 sets new industry benchmarks for speed and accuracy.
“One machine with all these capabilities is truly a game-changer,” says Hallowell. “Processing currency, tickets and checks on a high-speed, economical desktop unit saves time and money while fitting into any size gaming operation.”
