According to government planning, technical and license regulations have been referred to the Council of State, as a previous step before being sent to Brussels. The authorized games will be passed at the end of October. All these regulations and technical issues will be delved on the iGaming Summit’11, which will take place at the Eurobuilding Hotel in Madrid, on October 25th.
Treasury Department regulators such as Inmaculada Vela Sastre, Gaming Arrangement Managing Director, who will open the summit; jointly with Juan Carlos Alfonso, deputy manager of the same department, who will lecture on "Gaming Licenses: regulatory requirements and license official announcements" have already confirmed their attendance to this interesting business forum, which will focus on the new business opportunities offered by the new Gaming Act.
On his lecture Juan Carlos Alfonso will analyze both the new setting that will be established with the developmental regulation of the Law 13/2001, as well as the requirements of the next license announcements for singular and general licenses. At the same time, he will expose the gaming regulations that will govern the new online gaming activity (payment and money transfer methods, advertising, etc…).
