(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- G2E achieved to maintain the concept of “novelty” it had boosted since last year, after announcing new dates and a new venue, and offered yesterday a show marked by technological innovation as a concept at the service of entertainment. Big international companies presented their latest developments, including new gaming concepts, and achieved to attract a great number of public in the first day of the show.

Among the main firms that bet in innovation, we can mention Bally Technologies, which gathered a great number of public at its booth, in which almost 300 different titles were presented. Among the products highlighted, the music made its place among the public preferences, and the spaces dedicated to the movie “Grease” and the new machine “Michael Jackson King of Pop” attracted the attention of the visitors, with a great technological display and an impeccable visual presentation.

“The focus of our exhibition is centered in demonstrating innovations offering the top-entertainment experience to casino players, as they bring a strong profitability to the investment made by operators”, pointed Dan Savage, VP of Corporate Marketing of Bally Technologies.

IGT left its traditional place at the entrance of the pavilion to move to the center of the hall, where visitors find a complete collection of novelties created from pop-culture icons, and successful titles that bring new levels of entertainment.

The booth counted with the presence of Hollywood star Dan Aykroyd, as part of the promotion of the new “Ghostbusters - Who Ya Gonna Call”, as well as titles such as “Elvis - The King Multi-Level Progressives” (based on the mythical Singer), “The Twilight Zone”, “Sex and The City – Fabulous”, “Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin”, or classic movies such as “Breakfast at Tiffany's”.

Aristocrat competed for the attention, presenting more than 250 titles. The main games are still associated to big international franchises, such as Mission: Impossible, Jaws and El Zorro, among others. Besides, the firm offers an area called Aristocrat Online, in which connectivity and technology are key factors.

Besides, WMS generated a big attraction with its new titles: “Clue” (based on the traditional table game), Battleship (with interaction among players, competing in a virtual battleship) and franchises like “The Wizard of Oz - Journey to Oz”, Monopoly Party Train, “Gone with the wind” and Monster Jackpots. On top of that, they presented the “Súper Team” and “Aladdin & The Magic Quest” themes, the first Premium games.

Not only innovation reached products but also brands, because Atronic presented its merger with the firm Spielo. “By bringing the two businesses together to concentrate on the single, unified goal of being a gaming content leader, we have become more efficient and focused,” said Spielo International President and CEO Walter Bugno. He then added: “G2E is our first chance to meet Spielo International customers and show in which way integration will achieve attractive contents and products thought for the player”.

The presentation of Novomatic products at G2E includes a selection of international games, cabinets and solutions. At its booth, the firm exhibited a complete catalogue of AGI and Octavian products, such as AGI cabinets Novostar SL2 Slant Top, Super-V+ Gaminator and Novo Super-Vision, equipped with the combination of multi-games Super-V+ Gaminator, also from AGI. It also showcased its “Ultimate 10”, and its new “Reel Tournament”, which made operators bring players the chance to live a tournament in real time in an unlimited number of interconnected Super-V+ Gaminator machines.

Other leading companies participating with their new developments are Konami (with an impressive stand and big surprises), Shuffle Master, Abbiati, Future Logic, Ainsworth, Naipes Fournier, Rye Park Gaming, Crane Payment Solutions, EGT, Merkur Gaming, Alfastreet, Suzo-Happ, Copag, Cadillac Jack, MEI, Digideal, GPI, Cammegh, Transact and Aruze, among other big firms, together with Inspired, which makes its debut in G2E with interesting proposals for operators.

In short, Las Vegas event showed its best yesterday, not only with its debut in a new Convention Center, but also having achieved to gather one of the largest portfolio of novelties showcased in the same event for the casino industry.

Today and tomorrow, the event opens its doors at 10 a.m., to offer a profesional event, more focused in the sector than previous years, in which organizers expect to gather more than 25,000 executives from the gaming industry.
