(US).- Spielo International makes its official trade show debut this week, during the current edition of G2E Las Vegas. Spielo and Atronic joined under the new name to provide compelling content across multiple gaming channels. With approximately 1,200 employees in 17 countries, Spielo International expects its larger scale and broader scope to increase its competiveness and strength.

Spielo and Atronic have joined forces to become a single, unified business under the name Spielo International. This firm represents the formal integration of Atronic, which provides commercial casino and AWP games, cabinets, and casino systems, and Spielo, which offers a portfolio of VLT games, systems, and cabinets.

The new name marks the conclusion of the two companies’ efforts to consolidate and become an integrated, content-driven, multi-segment, global business.  With approximately 1,200 employees in 17 countries, Spielo International expects its larger scale and broader scope to increase its competiveness and strength.

“By bringing the two businesses together to concentrate on the single, unified goal of being a gaming content leader, we have become more efficient and focused,” said Spielo International President and CEO Walter Bugno.  “Eliminating duplication has allowed us to expand our investment resources, while we continue to customize our products to the needs of specific markets.”

He added that customers will not see a change in personnel or in office locations as a result of this integration. In addition, the well-recognized Atronic brand will continue as a product brand in certain markets.

Spielo International makes its official trade show debut during the current edition of Global Gaming Exposition in Las Vegas, October 4-6.

“We’re eagerly anticipating G2E, because this will be our first opportunity to greet customers as Spielo International, and to show them how integration is translating into compelling content and player-driven products,” said Bugno. “We also plan to give our customers an exclusive, longer-term look at some exciting licensed properties and innovative games in our pipeline.  Since our integration is now being finalized, we’re building even more momentum in our R&D efforts, and we plan to really outdo ourselves by this time next year.”
