Last November, the company had announced that BCLC selected Bally as its preferred vendor to replace their Gaming Management System.
“We are privileged by the support our systems have received in Canada and continue to be excited about further steps in the market,” said Richard M. Haddrill, Chief Executive Officer of Bally Technologies, Inc. “We look forward to this expansive technology partnership with such a prestigious gaming company as BCLC, and to helping them enhance their player experience and operations.”
“Signing of this contract with BCLC affirms our commitment to the Canadian marketplace as we continue to focus and expand resources in this region,” said Robert J. Parente, Bally Technologies’ Vice President and Managing Director of Canada. “The next phase with BCLC will commence to include planning, system integration, and pilot-site preparation. Together we expect to begin the implementation of sites in 2012 that will take approximately two to three years to complete.”
Bally will provide BCLC with its latest version of SDS Windows, which provides casino operations of all sizes with a competitive and scalable slot-management system. BCLC will utilize a host of Bally solutions throughout their operations, including Bally’s cage- management solution, a suite of bonusing solutions, and several other world-class Bally systems solutions. The system will also include new responsible-gambling tools in line with market requirements.
iVIEW DM provides the platform for powerful new floor-wide bonusing experiences through Bally’s Elite Bonusing Suite (EBS), a versatile nine-product suite that enables casino operators to deliver dynamic bonusing at the point of play. Each application is a different tool for building player loyalty with exciting entertainment options. Players get to spin wheels, select and root for their favorite contest-driven horse, and participate in instant floor-wide tournaments.
