“I think the best worldwide gambling venues are in Argentina. There are countries such as Mexico that in the latest years have experimented the opening of many venues, but the most experienced and the ones which have with the best machines are here,” remarked Franco Muñoz, who assured that he is pleased in Latin America due to the quality of the people and the lanscapes.
This year, Orenes made public its intention to reach the Latin American market to operate its own venues in different sub-sectors, and in August it announced the signing of an agreement with TTH Gaming, with the aim to achieve new business opportunities in the whole region, but with special focus in Mexico.
The director said that he was owner of Codere from 1980 until 2006 (now the firm belongs to Martínez Sampedro family). “In the same way in which we positioned Codere, which is now a company that is quoting in the stock-market, we wish to boost Orenes brand and take it worldwide”, he pointed.
He also commented that the initial focus will be in Mexico, due to the exponential growth it has experimented recently, and assured they will take advantage of their own experience as well as of the expertise of its partners in the country. Finally, he also pointed that the operation of their own venues will bring them a great shop window to exhibit the qualities of their machines.
