Wynn Macau (6.3 %), MGM China (5.1 %) and Melco Crown (4.9 %) all had mass market shares below 10 %.
Compared to a survey conducted in July also by Union Gaming Research Macau, Sands China gained 140 basis points of market share while SJM Holdings declined 240 basis points. The other operators’ shares were largely stable.
By property, the top three shares belonged to the Venetian Macao (22.2 %), the combination of SJM’s Grand Lisboa and Lisboa (15 %) and Sands Macao (13.2 %).
For this survey, Union Gaming Research Macau compiled observations from the two primary entry points into Macau, the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and the Border Gate, which combined accounted for 78 % of total visitation in 2010.
