Xriver Technologies appoints new Development Director

Steve Smallman has extensive experience of the US gaming industry and joins direct from Gametech International, a leading supplier of electronic bingo equipment and video lottery terminals. There he held a number of senior positions including Executive Vice President of Product, Sales & Marketing. Prior to this he helped launch the electronic bingo revolution as head of Marketing and Customer Service for Bingo Technologies Corporation (BTC) of Stateline, Nevada. 

He also has worked as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bettina Corporation, a class II gaming supplier based in Dallas, Texas as well as providing consultancy services for manufacturers, operators and regulatory specialists.

According to Ed Maddox, Managing Director of XRiver Technologies: “Steve Smallman’s wide industry experience will enable us will enable us to expand our presence in the industry and take maximum advantage of the rapidly growing demand for mobile gaming devices.”

He graduated from the University of Washington in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and subsequently completed post graduate courses in Gaming Management at the University of Nevada.
