The board of the holding company for the Betclic, Everest Poker, Bet-At-Home and Expekt operating brands in Europe said in a statement: "Under the leadership of Nicolas Beraud, Betclic Everest Group has successfully developed its range of sports betting products and online games.
“We thank Nicolas for his contribution and have asked him to join the group's board of directors. Today we are pleased to welcome a new internet professional to accelerate the growth of our brands, and consolidate and strengthen our position in France and Europe."
Beraud, who founded Betclic with Eric Moncada in 2005, and rose through the ranks to become CEO of the combined group following his company's 2008 acquisition by Betclic Everest when it was known as Mangas Gaming, said: "I will remember these six years as an enjoyable adventure where I was supported by enthusiastic and innovative teams in an sector where everything had to be created from nothing. I thank the Board for its confidence."
