(US).- IGT announced an agreement with Casino de la Vallée in Italy to install an additional 100 AVP machines on its floor. The new machines will be connected to Casino de la Vallée's IGT sbX casino management system and will take the casino's total machines connected to sbX to 215.

This agreement coincides with Casino de la Vallée's 60 million Euro investment in casino, hotel and spa renovations at its northern Italian location as it develops the new Saint Vincent Resort & Casino property. This new, luxury development is poised to become one of the premiere gaming resorts in northern Italy and Europe.

IGT's sbX casino management solution is an essential asset for the casino property as it focuses on enhancing its player loyalty programs. sbX gives Casino de la Vallée the flexibility to appeal to new players and further relationships with its existing player base while delivering the critical tools needed to manage the casino floor, promotions and operations.

"Since installing sbX last year we have seen our IGT games perform extremely well," said Luca Frigerio, sole administrator of Casino de la Vallée. "sbX is showing great success at Casino de la Vallée and is becoming a standard part of our decision process when making purchases of new slot machines. We look forward to the addition of the new machines and the potential for future expansions of our sbX offering, as well."

This new agreement with Casino de la Vallée gives IGT a 60 percent floor share in the casino. Located in Saint Vincent, Italy, the casino operates close to 700 slot machines and currently features a mix of IGT's Premium Products, also known as MegaJackpots, Core For-Sale games and the industry leading sbX casino management system. The installation of the new machines is expected to complete by early winter in 2011.

"We are excited to bring even more great gaming experiences to Casino de la Vallée through the addition of more sbX connected machines," said Sabby Gill, IGT's regional vice president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. "I have visited Casino de la Vallée and am truly impressed about the new slot area as well as the new Saint Vincent Resort & Casino development. In addition, I am very pleased to see that Casino de la Vallée is utilizing the benefits that only sbX can offer including access to the industry's largest and ever-expanding library of server-based games, modules that empower management teams to understand preferences and trends, and the ability to create a dynamic slot floor by deploying proven games over the open network."
