(Holland).- The Dutch government announced its plans to open the online gaming market in the country from 2012. At the beginning of this year, they already announced their intentions to grant licenses to bring betting services, as well as poker, casino and lottery services, all of them online.

The Dutch Association of Gaming Machines, member of Euromat, warned about the fatal consequences that the industry would have to face with the opening of the online gaming market.

Fred Teeven, one of the main responsables of the gaming sector in the country, is in talks with different people involved, on top of the members of the parliament, in order to approve the right measures related to the answers received.
