“We are here to demonstrate our support for the local operators and have established local sales and service support to put ourselves in a position to succeed,” Burns continued, and then added: “We recently opened a game-development studio in Sydney that will produce a continuous stream of games for Australia and other global markets on our sophisticated Pro Series cabinet platform. Bally’s future in the Australian market is strong and we’re excited to continue growing.”
Bally will present a sampling of its award-winning portfolio of games and systems technologies at exhibit number 360 in the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Debuting in Sydney will be iDeck, the industry’s first-of-its-kind touch-screen button deck. The award-winning iDeck completely redefines player-game interaction as its limitless versatility offers extensive customizable features, virtual games, and mystery bonusing. With this revolutionary innovation, when new game content is installed, the button configuration instantly changes to match the game – operators will never need to change a button deck again.
All the Bally games at AGE will be featured on the new, state-of-the-art, Pro Series cabinets, which are built for easy serviceability and maximum player comfort. They support downloadable content and are equipped for server-based gaming environments. The Pro Series cabinets are driven by the power of Bally’s new ALPHA 2 platform that enables new levels of interactivity and visual quality with 3D-graphic animations.
Bally will feature dozens of games, including Quick Hit Las Vegas and Quick Hit Dragon on the Pro V32 cabinet with its imposing 32-inch vertical touch-screen. Emerald Falls and Wild Huskies will be shown on the sleek Pro V22/22 Upright cabinet, complete with cutting-edge interaction and custom surround sound. Aussie Gold and Precious Diamonds will be displayed on the Pro Slant cabinet, designed with armrests and video displays positioned at an optimal angle for player comfort.
On the systems side, there will be live demonstrations of a number of slot-management, player-tracking, and table-management solutions.
Bally’s iVIEW Display Manager (DM), a picture-in-picture style player-user-interface for slot machines. This backward-compatible technology, which works on any manufacturer’s gaming devices with a touch-screen display, enables players to carry out many self-service functions at the game, including ordering drinks.
But the real benefit is the way this technology can add new levels of excitement and anticipation to game play. When combined with Bally’s Elite Bonusing Suite applications, which deliver floor-wide, interaction promotions and events, iVIEW DM offers a second-chance-to-win and the ability for players to earn valuable rewards, all without interrupting play on their base game. These interactive applications enable players to spin wheels, select and root for their favorite contest-driven car or horse, get instant rewards on their birthday, and participate in floor-wide slot tournaments.
The company will also showcase Bally Business Intelligence, which features a visualization profiler, campaign-management tool, and predictive analytics to help operators make proactive decisions.
