In Chile, new casino hotels have investments that exceed the us$ 980 million, such as the different casino hotels belonging to Enjoy Group, Monticello Gran Casino, Arica City Center, Punta Arenas, Salguero Hotels, Dreams Temuco, Gran Pucón, Antofagasta, Copiapó, Calama and Osorno and Coquimbo, among others.
In Uruguay, investment excedes us$ 160 million in Hotel Carrasco, Rivera, Salto, Treinta y Tres, on top of Conrad, Parque Hotel, Paysandú and Nogaró, already existing properties.
“We are under a very positive scenario that will generate more than 80,000 jobs, not even talk about its exponential factor in regional economies, tourism, health, etc. The region presents a positive scenario. These developments have a strong impact in the generation of employment and, in many cases, cover a déficit that had the hostelling capacity of some non-commercial cities that now have a touristic attraction”, they added.
These new casino hotels have categories between four and five stars, and have wide romos equipped with the highest technology: online security boxes, plasma screen, cable connection, minibar, telephone with Messenger service, large work desk, 24-hour room service, computarized locks and Wi-Fi connection.
In some cases, parking spaces have green eco areas and most of them have large rooms for social events, conventions and conferences, spa and gym.
