Online gaming in focus at 4th EEGS

(Bulgaria).- The latest developments and regulations in the online and land based gaming will be discussed at the upcoming Eastern European Gaming Summit in Sofia, Bulgaria, October 17-20. This year, the Summit will be held under the aegis of EUROMAT- the European Gaming and Amusement Federation, as a partner organisation.

EUROMAT represents the amusement and gaming industry of 23 national gaming associations from 20 European countries to the European Union. The event includes a full day of sessions on 17th October in  Hotel Arena Di Serdica, The afternoon program is planned to be entirely dedicated to online gaming, as well as  presenting  relevant topics on pending legislation in Eastern Europe.

Understanding the importance of such an open forum EEGS continues to provide the opportunity for gaming experts and professionals to discuss the relevant topics and strategic actions that can influence the gaming industry in this part of the world and aims to create various opportunities for networking and  potential meetings.

The Summit for its 4th edition will be attended by representatives of the  gaming related associations from  Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Austria, Macedonia (FYROM) and others. The trends and the development of the gaming industry in the region will be the most discussed topics during the event.

The latest update on the gaming regulatory arena for online and land-based gaming in Eastern Europe will be treated. Besides, Gaming Boards, Associations and Federations will gather, as well as online operators that will cover the major aspects of online gaming, best practices and analysis of regulations, licensing, taxation, money laundering, security, bank transactions and others.

The economic impact of online gaming in Eastern and South Eastern Europe will also be a subject, as well as the strategic positioning of the region on the world map. EEGS Masterclass promises to grab the attention with exclusive proposal for 2-day training classes on 19 & 20 October, 2011.

Organizers revealed that the event is also set to include an exclusive networking party, followed by the Organizer party for all attending delegates of Conference and BEGE Expo.
