(US).- Lottomatica Group announced that its subsidiary Gtech Corporation has signed a three-year contract extension with the Missouri Lottery to continue providing lottery technology as well as additional self-service lottery products, multimedia displays, and player subscription services.

The three-year extension, which will commence on July 1, 2012, is expected to generate revenues to Gtech of approximately us$ 45 million. The firm has been the online equipment and services provider to the Missouri Lottery since 1991.

“We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Missouri Lottery, which we are proud to say began more than 20 years ago,” said Gtech President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel.  “Over the next three years, we will assist the Missouri Lottery in enhancing their self-service offering, expanding their retailer base, and implementing an innovative subscription player service program.”

“This extension is also a strong endorsement of Gtech’s focus on strengthening customer relationships through superior service delivery and attention to customer priorities,” concluded Patel.

Missouri Lottery Executive Director May Scheve Reardon said, “The Missouri Lottery looks forward to the continued growth and progress we have made over the last two decades with Gtech.  This contract extension, and the addition of new lottery self-service machines for our retailers, provides additional opportunities for us to continue to grow and maximize revenues for education programs in Missouri."

Under the terms of the contract extension, it will provide the Missouri Lottery with 450 Gemini Ultra machines. Gemini Ultra is Gtech’s all-in-one online/instant ticket lottery dispensing machine with the added feature of an integrated Enterprise Series (ES) MultiMedia display.

The extension also calls for ES MultiMedia player messaging and transaction display technology at additional Lottery points-of-sale to increase brand/jackpot/winner awareness and advertise new games and promotions. Moreover, the contract extension will allow for an innovative, contemporary player subscription package through GTECH’s new Renaissance Program.

Gtech will continue to provide the Missouri Lottery with online lottery technology and a full range of support services including central computer system and terminal maintenance; communications management; field service and marketing support.
