Intralot’s 1 million dollar scratchie to go on sale in Victoria

Tickets will cost us$ 20 each and on average there is a better than one in three chance of winning a prize with the total prize pool available on the ticket being us$ 3.864 million.  Some tickets will also provide customers with a chance to win smaller amounts up to 20 times on the one ticket.

Intralot CEO, Leo Watling, is excited about this “first” for Victorian lotteries. ”Intralot eagerly awaits the introduction of this magnificent first us$ 1 million ‘Lucky Scratchie’ ticket into the Victorian market,” he said. “Our retailers and customers told us that they wanted to see a scratchie ticket with a larger prize and so we have delivered on that for Victoria and Tasmania.

Watling said Intralot has already received extremely enthusiastic feedback from its newsagent and lottery retailer network and they are all very excited to get their hands on stocks of these tickets to start selling them to their customers – hopefully to sell the top prize-winning golden ticket.

Since starting operations in Victoria on 1 July, 2008, Intralot’s previous largest ‘Lucky Scratchie’ winner in Victoria won us$ 500,000 and Intralot has paid out approximately us$ 69,800,000 in prizes.
