(US).- Peninsula Gaming informed that its Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque is the first casino in Iowa to launch IGT’s server-based gaming system for slot machines: sbX. It will allow the casino to introduce new games to its floor each month, keeping the guest experience fresh and unique.

IGT’s sbX allows casino operators to deliver customized player experiences, and change games quickly to keep guests engaged. In conjunction with the launch of sbX, Diamond Jo Casino will be adding a new area to its gaming floor called the New Slot Showcase where 50 new games will be introduced each month.

Guests will be able to play the newest games and vote on their favorites. Based on a combination of machine performance and player preference, the best two games each month will be added to the game floor permanently.

"In rolling out sbX and introducing The New Slot Showcase, we are giving guests more control over their entertainment, ultimately enhancing the guest experience and the relationship between Diamond Jo and its customers," said Chad Robbins, Director of Information Technology at Diamond Jo.

"Historically, decisions on which games to bring to the casino have been made without the customer, but by using the sbX technology we can bring in new and exciting games each month and they can tell us which they like best," Robbins added.

"sbX is one of the most advanced technologies in gaming today and we are thrilled to have it installed at Diamond Jo," said Richard Yim, Vice President of Systems for IGT. "The sbX platform provides Diamond Jo with the flexibility and connectivity needed to keep up with changing player demands and gain a competitive edge in their market."
