(US).- In a recent report, Bloomberg has indicated that the online gambling operator 888 is planning a strategic partnership with the well known casino operator Caesars. The WSOP, which is owned by Caesars Entertainment Corporation, would provide excellent marketing potential for 888 Holdings should the American jurisdiction become a regulated one.

The company has expressed an interest in obtaining an online poker license in the state of Nevada.

The “advanced stages” of discussions with Caesars, the world’s biggest casino operator, may very well culminate in a possible partnership agreement. 888 Holdings is a Public Limited Company (888) is one of the world’s leading online gaming entertainment and solutions providers.

888 is licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar, and has its headquarters and operating staff located there. 888 holdings was established  in 1997 and has a variety of gambling web sites available which include poker, bingo, casino games and sports betting facilities.

These talks are a front runners approach to keeping on top of the game in the USA, which firms like Caesars and 888 maintain with the positive forward thinking that will see them the first in line for licenses should the federal government in the States put a regulatory framework on the online gambling industry there.

The massive market in the USA is the carrot on the stick for these companies and they see that forming of partnerships makes for strength in numbers. The Nevada Gaming Control Board made a preliminary decision in March of this year finding the relationship between Caesars Interactive (CIE)  and online gaming provider, 888 Holdings, to be "suitable" under Nevada’s Foreign Gaming Act.

The release of 888 Holdings’ earnings statement for the last quarter revealed  a 29% increase in revenue primarily attributed to poker and casino expansion and the demise of Full Tilt Poker in the USA.
