The executive explained that Gtech has a 20 years contract with Loto Real to operate in the country, and that the firm enjoys sustained growth in the country with presence in all 32 provinces.
Almanzar said that Loto Real has 12 games, including Quiniela Real, Palé Real, Súper Pale Real and Lotería Nacional in its three modalities.
"Among the products that differentiate us from competition, we have Super Lotto Real, a game of loto with the largest accumulated of the country, because it is international. As sales are within the Caribbean region, obviously the game can offer a cumulative that can’t be overcome here," he said.
According to Almanzar, in addition to these traditional games Gtech, through Loto Real, plans to introduce other innovative games, different to those that already exist in the market, that will allow the firm to grow and consolidate itself in the market.
“It is a very competitive market, but it is very successful among people,” he said. According to Almanzar, Loto Real has the big advantage of having the latest technology of Gtech: a fast technology that allows the player to hold the ticket four seconds later than the play is generated.
"We are in the five continents in over 80 countries. Only in America we have over 100 clients, including the vast majority of U.S. lotteries," Almanzar said.
He noted that Dominican Republic had a recent change with the appointment of Alvaro Rivas as the new CEO replacing Luis Marrero, who was named as Director of New Business for Latin America and the Caribbean.
