Heber are committed to sustainability

The initiative has been driven by employees to reduce waste and increase efficiency. The organisation has always been dedicated to green projects and this is at the forefront of the companies’ agenda. The entire organisation is dedicated to continuously improving its environmental performance.

Heber now has a new dry waste capability, enabling a wider range of plastics and metals to be recycled. Investment has been made in the most efficient solid state (LED’s) lighting throughout the entire offices and factory facility. Replacement of lighting over the entire building has been undertaken, from stores to production.

Heber has adopted this new regime through the Carbon Trust to ensure the maximum benefit can be generated for the company and the community. Specialist controllers for energy conservation have been designed, including applications in gaming, commercial and domestic industries.

Expertise in energy management and cost reduction has led Heber to major contracts with leading consumer and industrial companies. Heber is leading a local initiative called the Green Technology Forum which has its next session in the local Forest Green Rovers football Club on the 20th of July.
