Ecuador: The fate of casinos to be defined in 15 days
(Ecuador).- Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism, Freddy Ehlers, announced that, in a maximum of 15 days, it will be released the government plan of application that will define the end of the activities of casinos in the country.

This announcement is released after the triumph of the referendum in which, by popular vote, the elimination of casinos was approved.
Besides, it will be indicated the relocation of the employees of the games of chance venues. With this aim, in the following days, Ehlers will meet the Minister Coordinator of Production, Nathalie Cely and with the Ministry of the Interior, José Serrano.
On top of that, meetings will be held with the legal secretary of the president and with businessmen of the sector, pointed Ehlers. “Legal casinos will be given some time, which will be determined according to the investments and to the time it takes to pay all the employees”, pointed the minister.
