"We are thrilled to bring our WAP technology and experience to Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia," said Tim Shortall, IGT vice president of Eastern Region Sales. "IGT introduced the very first WAP link to the gaming industry in 1986, and players continue to love the big jackpot opportunities these games offer. Thanks to this agreement, players in these three great lottery jurisdictions will be able to experience our exciting WAP games for the first time."
IGT's new MegaHits WAP will feature the MegaHits Multi-Level Progressive (MLP) and is scheduled to go live in mid-July. The first two games released on the MegaHits MLP are Emerald Sevens and Triple Ruby Riches. Both feature a local, four-level progressive plus the WAP top award.
"This agreement for IGT's newest WAP is extremely exciting for MUSL, IGT, and the Delaware, Rhode Island and West Virginia lotteries and operators," said Gerry Aubin, director of the Rhode Island Lottery and chair of the Video Lottery Game Group of the MUSL. "We are thrilled to work with an industry leader such as IGT to bring this new gaming experience to players in these three lottery jurisdictions.
